On a brighter note...

Well, it's been just a few days since the official canning but I do feel better. I know God wants better for me. So I decided to post a joke. People need laughter!

A man came home from a very hard day at work one day and that night he decided to talk to God. He said "You know God, I work hard all day and my wife stays at home. I just know she has a grand ol' time and I want to do that too. Please make me the wife for just one day so she knows what it's like to work hard." And bam, instantly they switched bodies. But the man had no idea what he was in for. The next morning the wife awoke at 5 am. After her morning cardio workout ( to keep the hubby happy) she woke up the kids, got them dressed, and off to school. After dropping them off at school, it was off to the grocery where she fought crabby customers, endless lines and cramped ailes. Afterwards she was off to the house where she carried, dragged and lugged the groceries out of the van. After putting the groceries away, she washed the dishes, cleaned the bathroom, vaccumed the carpet and folded the laundry. By then it was already 3 pm. Time to pick up the kids from school. After picking up the kids it was time for a trip to the library, where, after finding what they needed she calmly but sternly broke up a fight between the 2 eldest. Then it was off to the happy home to fix dinner. While the kids did their homework she prepared a feast fit for a king going back and forth between the kitchen and helping the kids with their math, english and social studies. After dinner it was more dishes to clean and a kitchen floor to mop. At 8 it was time to get the kids ready for bed. She bathed them, helped them with proper tooth brushing, read them all a bedtime story and tucked them in. Exhausted, she flung herself into bed looking forward to a good night sleep. But not before she was expected to make love. The next day the husband turned wife told God " God I realize what a mistake I've made. My wife works harder than I ever have. I've never been so tired in all my life. Please turn me back into the husband!" And God answered him. "Well" God said "I'm glad to see that you know how hard your wife works to keep a clean, happy, smooth-running household. There's just one thing." "What's that God?", the husband asked. " You'll have to wait 9 months. You got pregnant last night."

Oh come on, it made you giggle a little didn't it? Hehe.

Hey thanks for visiting my blog. :)

Did you move for work reasons? We did. Oregon is great! I hope Ohio is treating you better than Indiana was to me my first year there.

Becrall~ I guess you could say that we moved for work reasons...my dad lost his job in the timber industry and my mom is originally from Ohio so we moved out here to be near family who offered to help us get back on our feet. It is a beautiful day in Ohio today though!
