Happy birthday mom!

Hey everyone as you can see it's my mom's birthday. Just to let y'all know my mom has been sick for quite some time. She was hospitalized a few months ago. She's still recovering but seems like she's doing better. She's had fibromyalgia, a type of arthritis that affects the bones and the muscles. She's had it for almost 13 years and hasn't been able to work because of it. But I know that God has His timing for things and that He will reveal it to us when He chooses to.

Mom,
I know you and I have had a rocky relationship for the past few years and that I've kept a lot of anger inside. Before you got sick and your energy levels dropped real low and you were in pain a lot you really did the best you could for me. Even after you got sick you still tried. And after I called you today and you told me about Aunt Nannie coming over and bringing you cake and flowers I realized that my prayers for our family's healing were being answered. Things are finally starting to get back to normal again. You're doing better and I believe that our relationship is the next thing that will improve. God has His hand in this whole thing and has let me know that my anger is only going to hurt and that I need to release it. I hope and pray that in the years to come that you and I will have restored our relationship to what it used to be. Our family has had to deal with a lot of pain and grief over the last few years and for some reason it pushed us all away from each other. I've been praying for our family and I see God at work and our family is finally coming around to being a family again. I know that this gives you joy and I see what it does for your heart. And I think that this is God's birthday gift to you. Keep strong in HIM and together you and I will make it. Happy birthday mom. I love you.

Love,
Crystal
