GUESS WHAT???

I received my dental assisting certification results last night. I stood there looking at the package containing my results, shaking. Caleb comes over and helps me open it. I tear it open and retrieve the paper inside slowly. And then I saw them...the words I've been needing to read for the last few months. Congratulations. OMG!!! I passed my exam! You are now reading the blog of an Ohio State Certified Dental Assistant! The moment I saw the words, I started to cry. Caleb stood there smiling and hugged me. I'm so happy! This is a huge relief. I also finished my externship at Dr. Camm's office. I made the office a crockpot chicken meal as a thank you for letting me observe and learn there. They were so sad to see me go. But I'm not really going. Caleb and I are now patients there. Our dental assisting class was held in a dental office in Medina and today was our last day there. We did our finals and cleaned it up today. It was kinda bittersweet to leave. Monday we go to the career center for some powerpoint training and then Tuesday, our last day of school, we are going out to a restaurant called On Tap to celebrate. Then June 13th is our graduation ceremony. And then....I'm DONE. Totally and completely done. I am still currently looking for a job in oral surgery. Pray that I find something soon. I'd really like to start my career. Thank you God! Thank you for giving me the opportunity to begin a new chapter in my life. Thank you for being there through the good and bad. And thank you for an amazing husband who supported me the whole way through. Ain't life great?
