Is it really possible for a cat to be too affectionate?

I mean, really. You know, a cat, the animal people are always saying are just selfish litte furry creatures that don't care to be affectionate. Uh, they haven't met my kitty, Jasmine. Lord help me, I love her to pieces, but she cannot get enough attention. Let's take tonight as an example. I come home from being gone for just a few hours. Now, I will be the first to admit that I get on the computer first thing when I come home. But good grief, can she just wait 2 minutes? NO. She decides to lay down on the computer keyboard AND the mouse and demand that all of my time be put on her (but not before she gets in my face and screams at me for being gone and gets hair up my nose and in my eyes). Caleb has told me that when he's here but I'm not, she will not relax. She looks all over the apartment and calls for me and yells at Caleb if I don't magically appear. I mean, seriously, I can't even go to the bathroom in peace. But, I did always want a cat that was affectionate. For once, I REALLY got what I wanted. OK, I have to go now. She's screaming at me again.

My Moses was just like that, but Miri is the exact opposite! She is always trying to eat me arm off! Jasmine sounds sweet.

my kitty, McCoy, can be demanding also. And he can be spitefull if we don't feed him soon enough for him, or we're out too long. He demands to be petted as soon as I get home from work and as soon as mu husband leaves for work in the morning. I'm usually still in bed and he takes hubby's spot. I love it though!
BTW-the 'rents visit was great! I'll have pics soon..I hope! my mom took them all!
